The enclosure of an electronic product is much more than a plain plastic or stainless steel case and therefore the design of it plays an important role of the product’s success. Industrial Design is used to describe the look, feel, and experience you have when using a product. More specifically, Industrial Design describes the process of designing a product so that it can be manufactured, widely understood, and perform on a large scale. Today, electronic products are very complex, often also complicated. The requirements regarding design and the ability to offer the user guidance by means of the appropriate shape are accordingly high. Through initial product brainstorming, rapid sketching, concept development, and 3D refinement — here at Circuitsify our designer create innovative ideas and solutions surrounding the use, aesthetics, color and branding of a product. Our designers take inspiration from research findings about product usage and end users to develop concept sketches, 2D layouts, 3D models, paper/foam mockups, and rapid prototypes. We incorporate computer-aided tools to create both real and photo-realistic appearance models for final evaluation, and strive to pragmatically refine initial concepts into engineered, manufacturable products that fulfills price and manufacturing requirement.
